About Tina Belazeros
Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor
St. Augustine, FL
Tina’s goal as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor is simple: To improve lives. Her focus is on empowering others to become their FITtest self through strength training, conditioning, metabolic training and functional training for long-term health.
Tina began her fitness journey in kickboxing, a form of marital arts derived from karate, before going on to study Tae Kwon Do and earning a 2nd degree black belt.
After this foundational martial arts experience, Tina began focusing on metabolic training, boot camp-style classes and weight training. She learned from amazing trainers who pushed her to become her best and achieve her goals, like participating in her first Spartan Race at the age of 45, completing it in under two hours.
From beginners to former athletes and trainers; from MMA fighters to group fitness classes of all sizes, Tina has trained and worked with people of all levels and all age categories. She has even led winning teams in various weight loss challenges.
One of Tina’s points of focus is training modification to accommodate and maximize each of her athletes’ physical capabilities. In 2008 Tina was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease, which gave her a keen insight into the power of exercise modification and strengthening supporting muscles. Because all exercises aren’t for everyone, Tina specializes in finding what works best for her clients and incorporating challenging and functional training into every session.
